Memories of my journey through the lush green of northern Italy, is captured in this vast expanse of night over the open land. Suspended above the mountains, the limitless deep blue stretches over Valle Aurina. This painting draws inspiration from the pristine landscape of South Tyrol, northern Italy. Nestled along the Austrian border, the valley embodies a rare harmony between human presence and the natural world. Its forests, cascading waterfalls and imposing alpine peaks create a landscape of remarkable purity and quiet grandeur. In the distance, a solitary castle stands silhouetted against the slope of this valley.
