This drawing was done on site, up close and in front of the Pantheon, over the course of an evening and the following morning.
I started the drawing in the late afternoon until the light disappeared into night. Half complete, I returned the next morning to resume.
The Pantheon was built around 25-27BC by Marcus Agrippa, Roman General and son-in-law of Emperor Augustus; Agrippa’s original inscription is seen above the columns. Over the centuries, the Pantheon has survived several catastrophes, reconstruction and additions to its original structure.
Choose either a paper print or a canvas print. The price of the canvas print does not including shipping. Shipping cost will have to be calculated separately depending on the size of the canvas print. The canvas print is stretched over a wooden frame, which will influence shipping weight. There is no extra shipping cost for paper prints sent within Australia.
