This drawing was completed on site at the Orange Garden / Giardino degli Aranci. The smaller orange trees line the garden wall, and the umbrella pines tower over. A most sublime vantage point of Rome. High atop one of the seven hills of Rome is this luscious garden, filled with orange trees and umbrella pine.
I walked the winding path up this hill; a suddenly quiet part of the city, all cobblestones and lush greenery. Several hours later on a bench under the pine trees, this drawing materialised, while a busker played ‘Take Five’ on his guitar like he had the entire Brubeck quartet in his two hands. I could have stayed there forever.
Choose either a paper print or a canvas print. The price of the canvas print does not including shipping. Shipping cost will have to be calculated separately depending on the size of the canvas print. The canvas print is stretched over a wooden frame, which will influence shipping weight. There is no extra shipping cost for paper prints sent within Australia.
